This is a fortress belonging to the caliphal period and was an important strategic point, due to its geographical condition. The castle has protected our city from invasions and pirate attacks, but it was also one of the operational centers of the Army throughout the War of Independence.
We will guide you on the visit, but you must purchase the ticket on your own, although the price is very affordable, it will cost you almost nothing!
