This guided tour will begin with a welcome from our experienced and bilingual guide at the meeting point, Pasaje de la Concepción 7. At 08:30 the tour will begin on Paseo de Gracia on a bus. You will tour Barcelona along Diagonal Avenue, the largest in the city. You will be able to see the Royal Palace of Pedralbes and its surroundings and then leave the city and start getting to know the towns around Barcelona.
You will also have the opportunity to see the FC Barcelona Sports City and its headquarters, we will take you through the region where you will begin to see the great mountain of Montserrat. You will enter the beautiful Monserrat Natural Park, from where you can have impressive views.
Once we arrive in Montserrat, the cultural visit to the Monastery will begin, where you will learn about its history, visit the Basilica of Saint Mary and learn about the lifestyle of the monks. At 10:45 you will board the San Joan Funicular; Here you will learn how the mountain was made and in peace, the walk is practically always downhill and enjoying privileged views of the mountain and its wildlife.To regain some energy after the walk, you will taste the typical Catalan dessert, "mel I mata" (cheese drizzled with honey) from one of the local farmers. The sweetest way to end this wonderful excursion.
At 12:00 we will give you free time to visit the farmers market, the souvenir shops... so that at 12:40 you can meet again with the guide and return to the city.
