Deep Sea Fishing Adventure: A Day to Remember!

We recently embarked on an unforgettable deep sea fishing trip with Miguel and his amazing deckhand, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the day was filled with excitement, laughter, and a touch of adventure.

First off, Miguel and his deckhand were incredibly friendly and personable. They made us feel right at home on their spotless boat, which was well-stocked with water, soft drinks, and even beer!

Miguel shared fascinating stories about his fishing experience and showed us some impressive pictures, setting the stage for an epic day.

Miguel was very realistic and transparent, letting us know that while we may or may not catch fish today, it was all part of the experience. He outlined our itinerary for the day, including trolling for tuna and a backup plan to visit a secluded beach if anyone felt motion sickness.

After about 25 minutes of trolling, we got a tuna on the hook! ? Miguel sprang into action, guiding my husband through every step of reeling in the catch. It was thrilling to watch! Unfortunately, during the excitement, my wife started feeling a bit seasick. Miguel was quick to offer a solution, suggesting we take a break at the nearby beach. We swam to the serene beach and enjoyed a relaxing hour and a half in the sun, which was just what we needed. ☀️

Once we were rejuvenated, we swam back to the boat, and Miguel skillfully navigated us back to the marina. As we departed, Miguel graciously offered us a piece of the tuna we caught. We requested 1kg, and he informed us that our hotel could cook it for us, which they did. It was a culinary delight to savor tuna that we had caught ourselves – truly a sea-to-table experience like no other! In summary, our deep sea fishing trip with Miguel was a 10 out of 10 experience.
