The Arcachon basin, a particularly protected area of the Aquitaine coastline, is optimal for deep sea fishing. You will therefore embark on a day of tuna fishing mainly in the Passes between Arcachon and Cap Ferret, the area where the waters of the basin meet those of the Atlantic Ocean .
In the company of a state qualified instructor and holder of a BPJEPS, you will live an rich experience in new skills and techniques, in order to to take advantage of your day of tuna fishing. You will in fact be entitled to a detailed briefing, to inform you as best as possible of the security measures to be respected, the strict regulations regarding fishing for bluefin tuna , the practice of "no kill", as well as all the techniques necessary to do this type of fishing, in particular, sport fishing strong> to thelure vertically.
Procedure:
- You will be welcomed at 6:30 a.m. at the port of Arcachon by your instructor, who after receiving you, will distribute the equipment you will need, namely fishing rod , life jacket and lure.
- Then, he will give you a briefing followed by the departure towards the passes between Arcachon and Cap Ferret.
- You will then start trying to fish by practicing no kill which consists of fishing tuna without hurting them in order to be able to release them later.
- Plan a picnic for the lunch break planned during the activity.
- The return to the port is planned around 6 p.m.
