English Cherokee Camp and Adventures in Almijara

It's time to go back to the tribes! The Cherokee Camp is the way for your child to spend the most special summer, in contact with nature, in the Sierra de Almijara, Tejeda and Alhama Natural Park.

Children from 6 to 14 years old can sign up, and we offer these 6-day shifts with Sunday arrivals and Friday departures from June 30 to August 16.

Our program will allow us to do the Indian thing through a multitude of activities, and we will also learn English through 3 daily classes in which we will use games and fun activities, so that learning will be achieved very easily.

To stay, we will have Indian tipis, as it could not be otherwise. At the base they have a large mat so the little ones can be comfortable. The capacity of each tent is 8-10 people. You will need to bring a sleeping bag.

The program includes 4 meals each day, which are prepared in our kitchens daily. Also, if your child has special dietary needs, just let us know.

Among the Indian adventures that we will do, are the following:

• Off-road ecocar routes.
• Horse riding lessons.
• Canoe and paddle surf rides.
• Paintball game for children.
• Archery practice.
• Climbing, zip line and Tibetan bridges session.
• Interpretive hiking excursions.
• Orientation learning.

Additionally, as a good Cherokee tribe, you will learn different techniques that every authentic Indian should know:

• Survival course in nature.
• Rope workshop (knots).
• Costumes and makeup, to become Cherokees.
• Tribe dances.
• Making handcrafted products.

At night the most fun plans await you, thanks to the evenings that we will organize:

• Cowboys and Indians games.
• Indian dance night.
• Baptism ceremony for young Indians.
• In search of the Eagle.
