Our tour will depart from the Lizara refuge towards the Los Sarrios Valley, using backcountry skis, crampons and ice axes or snowshoes, according to the terrain and the state of the snow, learning the different techniques to progress in the snow and applying the different safety techniques. In the Sarrios Valley we will practice bivouac (assembling tents, handling shovel and arva, but also how to build igloos or snow caves).
We will spend the night and the next day, we will continue the journey towards Ibón de Estanés and Aguas Tuertas. In this terrain we can apply different off-piste skiing techniques until the Selva de Oza.
To carry out this activity it is necessary to have good physical condition and beused to walking in the mountains with a heavy backpack.
*The use of warm shoes and clothing is recommended

What does the activity include
- Complete backcountry ski equipment, snowshoes, ice ax and crampons.
- Mountain guide.
- Civil liability and accident insurance.
- Full board (dinner, breakfast and lunch on the 2nd day).
- Transportation to the starting point and return.
- Material:tents, shovel, arva, rope, ribbons, first aid kit.
- Does not include personal equipment.
- Does not include transfer to the meeting point with the guide.
- Picnic on the first day is not included.
When your activity starts and finishes
Day 1
- 7:30 a.m.: Meeting with the guide at the Val d’Echo Activa office (Ctra de Oza, 2).
- Distribution of material.
- Transfer to the Lizara refuge (Aragüés del Puerto).
- Reception of the first basic instructions to progress according to the terrain we find: hard snow, virgin snow, ice, etc.
- Traverse from Lizara to the Los Sarrios Valley.
- We will prepare the bivouac, we will set up the tents, we will build igloos or caves in the snow.
- We will prepare dinner
Day 2:
- After breakfast we will leave for the Estanés and Aguas Tuertas lake.
- From here, due to the type of terrain, it will be more of a Nordic crossing, using backcountry skis and applying different off-piste techniques through Guarrinza until the Oza Jungle.
- In the Oza Jungle the transport will be waiting for us to return to Echo.
