This is an opportunity to visit the Sumidero Canyon in a different way, we will take you to a corner called "The Gym" which is located at the beginning of the canyon and here we will carry out a descent rappel where you will enjoy the proximity of the river. To get out of this place we will carry out a climb. During these activities you will be able to observe part of the flora and fauna of the place as well as cave paintings of the Zoque culture.
Once these two activities are finished, we will take a boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon so you can enjoy impressive views surrounded by lush vegetation and the canyon walls, it is a unique ride. At the end of the tour, the boat will return us to the Cachuaré pier where we can continue the road to San Cristóbal de las Casas or visit Chapa de Corzo.
The expedition has a medium difficulty ideal for ages between 12 and 55, for people who have a certain physical condition and like ecotourism and adventure sports. We recommend that you bring a long-sleeved dryfit shirt, as well as insect repellent and a cap or hat.
