Our team of experienced instructors are running rock climbing experiences in Blackford Quarry. This is one of the most popular climbing spots in Scotland for the quality of the rock and for its location - in the Hermitage of Braid Nature Reserve just outside Edinburgh.
Your rock climbing session will start with a detailed briefing and a warm-up activity on low bouldering walls. We make sure that our activities are suitable for complete beginners. Even children can get involved!
We’ll take care of all the ropes, harnesses, helmets and other pieces of equipment that make this sport possible. We ask that you wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities including waterproof layers and your own drinks and snacks.
This is a two and a half hour activity in which you’ll gain new skills and self confidence, reaching the top of climbing routes. Then it’s time to abseil back down! Perfect for families and friendship groups of up to eight people.
