Located just outside Congleton town, only 10 miles from the A6 so you can visit our clubhouse and grounds by car, coach or even helicopter if you like. One of the many things makes this location such a special place to learn and enjoy clay pigeon shooting are the stunning views of the Peak District National Park, a feature no other clay pigeon venues can rival.
Upon arrival to our grounds, you can check in and enjoy a breakfast sandwich from our excellent restaurant along with tea or coffee.
One of our experienced instructors will then lead the session with a safety briefing to prepare you for the activity that will be fun but also has to be secure.
Once on the range the learning and excitement can commence, 25 clays will be launched in the air and you it's up to you to aim and hit as many as you can in this exciting game of accuracy and speed. Don't worry if you lack experience, you will be hitting the clays in no time.
We of course provide food and refreshments as mentioned, the clays, cartridges, hearing and eye protection, insurance and gun hire are all included in the price. You will only need to bring some warm clothing and waterproofs depending on the weather.

When you arrive at our lodge just outside Congleton, only 10 minutes from the A6, you must check-in, and you will receive a breakfast sandwich with sausage or bacon from our restaurant, which serves breakfast and lunch every day we are open and some tea or coffee.
Before the fun and learning can begin on the range, one of our qualified instructors will kindly greet you and deliver a safety briefing to ensure you are prepared for the session.
When everyone is ready to begin, you will head to the range and experience the picturesque views. The instructor will guide you throughout the process, starting with practice shots as 25 clays will fly into the air, and you must use speed and accuracy to hit them. You will quickly progress and learn techniques to improve in time for the competitive part of the session.
After a quick relaxing coffee break at our clubhouse, your competitive side will have a chance to shine as, once again, 25 clays will come at you from different directions and speeds, but this time in competition against your group, which is great entertainment.
The clays, cartridges, hearing and eye protection, insurance and gun hire are all included, along with the food and refreshments and food we provide. Make sure to check the weather before arrival, as we ask that you bring some warm clothing and waterproofs if necessary.

We have the ultimate session that welcomes first-timers and those with experience, ages 12 to 100, so bring along some family members or friends for an experience everyone will love.
When you arrive at our venue that overlooks the stunning Peak District National Park, you will be warmly received at check-in. The festivities begin with a breakfast sandwich and a cup of tea or coffee.
Before we take you to our range, one of our experienced instructors will deliver a safety briefing to make you feel at ease and shortly lead you out for the session to begin.
Become enriched by the picturesque sights as you prepare to try clay pigeon shooting, possibly for the first time, and you will quickly gain confidence as you aim for the clays in our practice session with 25 clays. The clays come at you fast from different angles, but with our professional instructions, you will see progress soon enough.
Once you have tasted the action, you can enjoy a short coffee or tea break before the real fun begins. Another 25 clays will be launched into the sky in our second part of the session, this time it's a competition, and our instructors will pit you against your group in a game of accuracy and speed to find out who can master clay pigeon shooting and hit the most clays.
After the action, the festivities end with relaxation and a delightful main meal with chips and veg.
The 50 clays, hearing and eye protection, cartridges, insurance and gun hire are all provided, and you enjoy the two meals and refreshments. Be aware of the weather conditions before arriving; if needed, bring waterproofs and warm clothing.
