We suggest you do caving in the Gruta do Medico, one of the most important caves on the Setúbal peninsula, with a drop of 21 meters deep. The route is about 174 square meters, so carrying out the activity will take us approximately 4 hours. The 4 galleries that we will explore are superimposed on 3 levels.
We will enter the cave through a narrow opening in the floor and then descend about 3 meters. We can even see bats inside. The development of the activity will take place throughout the stratification meeting, but if you want to know more, you will have to come and discover it yourself!
Although it may sound extreme and complicated, don't worry! This activity is aimed at people with little or even no experience. If you still do not have knowledge of cave progression, our expert instructors will be in charge of teaching you everything you need to know to move freely through the karst cavities.
We will give you all the necessary material to go caving, you just have to bring appropriate footwear and want to have a great time. You can also come with children from 10 years old, they will surely enjoy it to the fullest while learning dynamically.
