Caving in Toxín
General information
The activity lasts depending on the route and the activities to be carried out, from approximately 4:00 am to 1:00 am with the option to camp on site.
Deal overview
The transfer toToxín is approximately 5 and a half hours, along a dirt road. Leaving the offices at 4:00 am. Arriving we leave the truck next to the cave, we walk downstream inside the cave for an estimated 2 hours, we do 3 rappels until we reach a siphon. We stop for an hour to eat (everyone brings their own food and drink, a minimum of two liters of water or juice is recommended).
On the way back we walk 3 hours to get out of the cave, we put on dry clothes (everyone brings an extra change of clothes and shoes). The return trip takes approximately 5 and a half hours by van, arriving at Guadalajara at 1:00 am.
We have the option of camping with tents and sleeping bags at an extra cost.
Recommended Luggage:
- 2 pairs of tennis shoes or hiking boots (they do not need to be professional)
- Compact lamp (with batteries)
- Lycra long sleeve swimsuit
- Extra change of clothes and comfortable shoes
Note: for very thin people or people with a low body fat index, they will have to wear a wet suit with a minimum thickness of 3 or 4 millimeters.
* We have the option of transportation to the Ventura site with an extra cost of $1,500 and a 5 and a half hour drive.
