Just 1 hour from the capital of Madrid, a fantastic aquatic adventure awaits you to enjoy with friends. It is canyoning in Somosierra, one of the few settings to enjoy this sport in the Community. Leave the stress of the city behind and spend some 4 hoursof maximum adrenaline in the Duratón River.
We will meet the monitorat the Cepsa Gas Station in Somosierra where he will explain the route we are going to follow and will distribute the individual material that you are going to use during the journey (shoes, neoprene, harness and safety helmet). Afterwards, we will have to walk for half an hour to approach the ravine and begin the adventure.
The area of the activity is made up of a granite rock floor where several waterfalls, jumps, slides of around 9 meters and rappels are mixed. > up to 30. An incredible landscape that invites emotion!
Remember that the level of experience is moderate, so you do not need to have extraordinary physical conditions, anyone can come to practice it as long as they know how to swim. It is the best way to get baptized!
As an indication, we recommend that you come with shoes that support the ankle well and have a good sole, also that you bring comfortable clothing, apply sunscreen and, if you use contact lenses, wear diving goggles during the route.
