Canyoning is the extreme sport of choice for adventurers in North Wales. It involves swimming, climbing, diving and more in the intense environment of a canyon. Our location even includes zip lines!
We’ll meet at our base on the Afon Tryweryn, near Bala, then take you further into Snowdonia National Park. Our destination is a rift in the landscape with a gushing stream of white water that we’ll have to navigate from one end to the other.
Even though it’s extreme, we’re able to take both first-timers and experienced adventurers on these trips. So long as you are over 12 years of age, weigh less than 115 kilograms, 18 stone, and can swim 25 metres, you can come along!
Because we send at least two outdoor instructors on canyoning excursions, we need at least 4 participants. We provide life jackets and helmets, while you need to bring a wetsuit or rent one from us for an additional fee.
The whole experience will take up about half a day because we have to travel to a from the venue, but you can expect two full hours of canyoning thrills.
