How about a day of canyoning in Corsica, in Upper Corsica?
This activity will take place in the heart of the Ruda canyon, located in the Monte Cinto massif. It is located in the Gnolo region, the highest part of Corsica. The torrent in which you will be is a tributary of the Golo and makes the descent quite sporty.
For this day of canyoning, we will meet you in Calviand we will give you more details on the exact location before the activity. On site, you will find your instructor and the rest of the participants with whom you will establish initial contact. After having given you your equipment and having briefed you on this day of canyoning, you will take a free shuttle for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes before arriving at La Sacala di Santa Régina . You will then make an approach walk of approximately 30 minutes before arriving at the edge of the canyon. Once you arrive at the practice location, you will set off for four hours of descent!
You will do abseiling under waterfalls, jumps up to 8 m high which can be avoided and go down natural slides . You will also have the opportunity to swim in natural pools, all in an idyllic setting! Once the day is over, you will share your impressions with your instructor during a five-minute return walk.
Please note:
- The descent of this canyon is possible from the age of 14.
- The maximum group size is eight people for your comfort.
- We ask that you please bring water, a picnic and a snack!
- Remember to bring your sports shoes and your swimming gear.
