Canyoning in the full day with transportation

In São Miguel , the largest island in the Azores archipelago , waits for itself a very special adventure, worthy of the boldest explorers. It is a whole day of canyoning where you can practice this discipline for about 6 hours in the find, an impressive natural area located in the northeast of the island.
After meeting with the instructor in Ponta Delgada we will enter the vehicles to take a trip of about 40 minutes to the famous Ribeira dos Caldeirões Park , a natural environment that seems taken from a fantasy story, ideal for enjoying all canyoning magic.
Once the finding, the instructor will leave the helmets, facts and climbing equipment before taking a walk to the river, where there will be a brief instructional lecture before finally starting this extraordinary adventure.
At noon there will be a break so you can eat something and recharge the batteries before returning to the ravine. For morning you can feel the strength of this sport, surpassing waterfalls up to 8 meters high, but only in the afternoon, when you reach the back of the river, you will find the highlight of The Day; An imposing 13 meter high waterfall that you will cross rappelling.
