Deal overview
Located in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the south of France, you will discover spectacular landscapes and waterfalls impressive during this descent in one of the most famous canyons in the region.
First of all, go to the bridge over the Riou in Roquesteron. Before starting the descent, you will be equipped with a neoprene suit, a helmet and a safety harness. You will also receive an explanation on the use of safety equipment as well as basic descent techniques.
Once in the canyon, you will begin the descent using the different canyoning techniques. The Riou de Cuébris canyon has several waterfalls and natural slides, as well as jumps into the crystal clear water pools strong>. The marked route extending over approximately 3 km will offer you a magnificent natural environment. Throughout your journey, observe waterfalls, craggy rocks, narrow gorges and lush forests.
The activity is supervised by a professional guide who will accompany you throughout the route.
At the end of the descent, you will exit the canyon and walk back to your starting point. You can then remove your equipment and enjoy a moment of relaxation to recover from your emotions.
