We suggest you spend half a day in total immersion in the Bugey canyons. The Bugey canyons are located near Bourg en Bresseand Lyon. These canyons are made up of several canyons such as the Groin Canyon, one of the sites of canyoning the most important in France.
The diversity of the bugey canyons allows you to satisfy all desiresand all levelsbecause your instructor will choose the canyon best suited to your request. These canyons are located in the Bugey massif, part of the southern part of the Jura massif. This massif is maintainedand preservedso as to conservethe beauty of its nature.
We will therefore meet you in the village of Chalay at 9:30 a.m. where an instructor will welcome you. Member of the SNPSC, he will accompany you during this canyoning activity. Once you have gotten to know each other, he will give you your equipment, help you equip yourself and give you the instructions to follow for this half-day. You will then set off for a short approach walkbefore arriving near the chosen canyon.
You will finally get into the water and go down the river with jumps, slides, abseiling, floating... Throughout this activity, your instructor will teach you the good practices of canyoning. He will also give you a progress logbook in which you can assess your level. A small medal may be given to you if you complete the first level.
After having had your fill of a change of scenery and fun, it will be time to return to the starting point where you will hand over your equipment to the instructor and can debrief with him on this unforgettable half day.
Note:
- The jumpscan go up to 7 meters in heightand can beavoided.
