Medium level canyoning with photos in the Cerves River

Dare to go canyoning in the Cerves River, where the famous Melón or Cerves ravine is one of the most famous places for this type of activity. Medium level and located in Galicia, this ravine has extraordinary views and landscapes and if it is so well known for something it will be!

This river is a tributary of the Miño River, and originates in the Serra do Suido. The meeting point with the professional monitor will be in the town of Melón, located just 30 minutes from Ourense and 45 minutes from Vigo.

The groups must be a maximum of 10 people to avoid long waits on the descents, and you must have rappelled before because it has a medium-high technical level, depending on the flow of the river. although it does not represent a great physical level.

The use of ropes, harness and helmet will be necessary, which we will provide as well as neoprene (one or two pieces) and neoprene socks. You should wear trekking shoes that can get wet, and in which you are comfortable to avoid slipping.

We will go down with different jumps of up to 6 meters, and with a minimum of 3 rappels, depending on the section we do, which will depend on the group, schedules, weather, etc. The time it takes to make this descent is approximately 4 hours, although it will depend on the pace of your group.
