This price is exclusive to those between 4 and 11, but please don't worry; an adult must be there to join them, so we also have adult prices available to create the ideal family adventure perfect for any birthday party, family reunion and more.

The journey will begin behind the village of Fownhope at Lucksall and will lead you through Lee Brink, a gentle rapid that will take you around a giant loop, so you will get to practice your canoeing skills before paddling past Ballingham and under Caplor Woods.

You will have three hours with our top-quality equipment and around 8.5 miles to travel, so you will have plenty of paddling fun and sights to see, like a former Railway Bridge on the way past Carey Islands towards our destination at Tresseck Campsite.

After half a day of leisurely canoeing, you may feel quite relaxed, but you might be a bit in need of refuelling and refreshing, so you can head to The New Harp Inn, which is only 250 metres from the landing spot and is ideal for convening with family and friends after a group event.

Please note that we provide a paddle and buoyancy aid with our canoe.

Upon hiring our equipment, you can embark on a scenic river route, starting at Lucksall and heading to Hoarwithy, with tons to see and experience on the way.

You will pass the beautiful villages of Fownhope and Billingham, navigating bends, loops, flats and rapids, with plenty of time to appreciate the sights, as you will have around 3 hours to complete this adventure and around 8.5 miles to travel

Before reaching our destination, you will paddle towards Carey Islands and a former railway bridge which now lies in ruin. Soon you will see Hoarwithy Bridge and a gravel beach marking at our base at Tresseck campsite, which signals the end of the journey.

This price is exclusive to teenagers and adults 12 and over, so perfect for birthday parties and corporate events, especially for the adults, as The New Harp Inn is located close to the destination and is a great place to stop by for a drink and some food.
