Our rowing boats are a blast from the past, and they are available for hire in the majestic Lake Windermere, where natural beauty is endless, and so is the opportunity for adventure.
As people have done since the 19th century, you can paddle up and down England's largest lake in a traditional rowing boat.
Our boats are 12ft long and can fit four people, regardless of age and ability, so we welcome all types of groups on any occasion, and our experienced coaches can adapt the experience to meet your desires.
Your instructors will help get you started by supplying all the necessary equipment and briefing you on the important safety procedures from our base at Fell Foot on the south side of the lake, but once you are ready, you can embark on the adventure of a lifetime, and we are always on hand to assist you in any way you need.
The equipment we provide includes the rowing boat, paddles, buoyancy aids, spray tops and dry bags if necessary. We also offer lockers to safely store your belongings while you explore the Lake District.
