Since this is an overnight activity, you will spend a whole day canoeing together with a camping and expedition experience. Even though previous experience is not required (minimum age is ten years, and under 18 must be with an adult). Just make sure you and your group are aware that this will be a day involving different skills, you might face some challenges, but we assure you that every moment will be enjoyable and exciting.
Please know that we will provide the canoeing equipment like paddles, canoe, and buoyancy aid; you will need to bring the following stuff for the camping and best of your adventure: tent, sleeping bag, warm apparel, an additional set of clothes, comfortable clothes, proper shoes, personal and cleaning equipment, food, safety equipment and any other thing you think you will need for this overnight experience.
Well designed, our itinerary covers every adventure we can have together with some knowledge you will get at the end of the day. First, we will go through the whole preparation process, learning how to pack the equipment, getting everything ready, and loading our canoes to start our journey. Later on, we will navigate across Derwent waters being able to appreciate wildlife and beautiful views. Then we will get to our camping area, where we will practice our adventurer's skills, enjoy a campfire and live a unique experience.
Finally, we will enjoy breakfast in the outdoors, paddle back and finish this amazing journey very satisfied after you see the whole adventure you successfully accomplished.
