So, what do we have to tell you to give you the final push and make you fulfil your kid's dream? Exactly! We can start talking about our location, which is near your house, in the magical town of Taplow (Buckinghamshire). At the heart of the Thames Valley and using the Jubilee River as our stage for practising canoeing, we are also in the middle of splendid gardens and forests.
Did you know that we are 6 minutes away from Oak and Saw Village Inn by car, a restaurant whose products come from local agriculture? You will definitely love the building. It looks like the house of Hansel and Gretel!
We keep going: we know that you want more information about our activity: we have designed a 2-hour session, where we promise that you, your kids (14 years old or under) and their friends (we suggest groups of 2 to 8 people to actually take advantage of the experience) will be 1.5 hours doing the sport on the water.
And no, you don't need to have been in contact with canoeing before or bring any special equipment. Our team, led by Chris Beal, a professional who has been an instructor for over a decade, is going to welcome you and is going to get you ready off-water before you put your lifejaceket, grab the paddle and jump into the Jubilee River to enjoy a perfect day of canoeing.
In addition, we'll give you everything, but we recommend you to bring some wind and water outfits because, depending on the forecast, it may be cool. However, the most important tools that you will need, like a boat or the stick to paddle, are waiting for you here to arrive (if you have them and feel more comfortable using them, they are more than welcome!).
