If you are in Asturias, one of the best-known activities (if not the best-known) is the canoe descent of the Sella. Without a doubt, a fun, dynamic activity and in a group, you always have a great time. Therefore, we encourage you to come and make this descent with us, so that you can enjoy this Asturian experience.
This descent of the Sella River begins in Arriondas, and you can choose these different sections:
- Arriondas a Toraño: with a distance of 8 kilometers and a duration of approximately 2 hours.
- Arriondas a Omedina: the distance traveled is 14 kilometers and lasts more or less 4 hours.
- Arriondas to Llovio: with a distance of 16 kilometers and a duration of 5 hours.
The section you want to choose for this fun descent will depend on your bravery and skill. we will not take care of the necessary materials and our expert instructors will teach you the key techniques to row without no problem. In addition, you will make rest stops where you can eat and drink something.
The descentcan begin from 11:00 to 13:00, although you can be on the river until 18:00. We will take care of the transportation back to the center to drop off the materials and pick up your belongings; although we will also give you a container to store your belongings during the canoe descent.
To be able to participate you must be over 5 years old and you have to know how to swim. You must also be over 1.15 meters tall and, if you are a minor, be accompanied by an adult.

What does the activity include
- Canoes (single, double and triple).

Participants in the canoe descent of the Sella must bring:
- Swimsuit, t-shirt and towel.
- Aquatic footwear (sports shoes in winter and flip-flops with ankle grip in summer).
- Sun protection (cap and cream).
- Mobile phone charged and operational with water protection.
- Water protection for phones and keys.
- Cash money, for stops at the beach bars.
- Food and drink
- Masks for intermediate stops and van transfers
