On our boat trip on Loch Linnhe, in the Scottish Highlands, they enjoy panoramas of mountains and glens, interesting sights and, of course, wildlife. This is a tour from Fort William to Seal Island and back.
Common and grey seals have colonies on the back rocks of Seal Island and we see them there on almost 100% of our trips. We might also see porpoises or dolphins, as well as sea birds of different kinds.
This child’s price is for children under 16 years old. Adults are booked separately. Our boat has an outdoor viewing deck and an indoor area with plenty of windows. It also has toilets and refreshments are sold at the bar.
It’s a two hour cruise to Seal Island and back. Kids will love watching mountains, including Ben Nevis, glide by and they might learn something too, because our knowledgeable skipper will give live commentary during the sailing.

Loch Linnhe, a beautiful inlet of the sea in Scotland’s Highland region is the location of our boat trips. We sail from Fort William to Black Rock, more popularly known as Seal Island for its populations of grey and common seals.
Our tour boat is an ocean-going catamaran, with spaces to sit and enjoy the views inside and outside, a bar and toilet facilities. It’s skippered by an experienced sailor who also provides live commentary on what can be seen from the boat.
The cruise lasts around two hours and takes in views of Ben Nevis, the Caledonian Canal, salmon and mussel farms, and a shipwreck. Get your cameras at the ready!
This is the price for adults (over 16 years old). We have discounted prices for youngsters and dogs are welcome too! The boat has space for 65 passengers, but booking in advance is recommended.
