We take you to discover the Thau basin, located in Marseillan through a one-hour water trip. This basinis the Mediterranean capital of oyster farming. Indeed, this pond is famous for its numerous shellfish farms. Itis considered a small inland sea and measures 7,500 hectares. `
Located a few kilometers from Sèteand Cap d'Agde, the commune of Marseillan has 6 km of beaches >and 30 km of cycle paths. It is made up of two distinct places: Marseillan city and Marseillan beach.
For this boat trip on the Thau basin, we will meet you at the Marseillan port on the Quai Antonin. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by our crew who will take you aboard the Diane I, your boat for this water trip . You will then sail on the Thau pond and benefit from rich explanations from our professional and passionate fisherman.
She will comment on the visit and answer any questions you may have. You will then take a short break in front of the Canal du Midi, listed as a UNESCO heritage site. Afterwards, you will also sail through the oyster beds of the basin before returning to dry land where you can debrief with our crew.
