Boat trip to Piedra Salmedina 90 min
General information
Deal overview
Enjoy one of the most beautiful and interesting excursions in the Cadiz coastal area: the Salmedina Stone and the Rice Boat.
The Salmedina Stone is a reef located off the coast of Chipiona that once housed a Roman town. Later it was covered by the sea and is currently a refuge for a wide variety of corals.
The Rice Boat refers to a ship that was transporting rice bound for Seville and ran aground off the coast of Chipiona. The rice swelled so much that it even dented materials and split the boat in two. You can still see both parts of the boat.
The duration of this excursion is approximately 90 minutes and will take place aboard a semi-rigid boat with capacity for 12 people and which is directed by an expert boat skipper. 'You'll just have to relax and enjoy the experience!
