Based in the heart of Northamptonshire, we run our flights at the lovely Sywell Aerodrome, where you will meet one of our super passionate pilots. We will brief and prepare you beforehand for this 30-minute trial flying lesson and debrief you afterwards.
At the stellar location, we have a diverse fleet and can accommodate your needs if you want a solo flight, we have two-seat aircraft for that, but if you want to invite a couple of friends, this session is perfect as we use 4-seat planes whether it's our Cessna 172 G-BXSD or Cessna 172 G-BOMS.
From the moment you enter the plane, you will get to sit in the pilot's seats, see stunning sights from the cockpit and get to grips with the aeroplane controls.
You will also be in control for almost all of the flight, which will help you progress leaps and bounds with the instructors ready to help and guide you where necessary, but this valuable practice will sharpen your techniques and skills immensely.

This trial flying lesson usually lasts around one hour, and you can learn so much in that time, especially when under the tutelage of one of our highly experienced and passionate flight instructors.
Flying over Northamptonshire, you will get tons of stunning countryside sights, and you might even fly over the iconic Silverstone race circuit, which is unique and worth sharing, so why not invite some friends and family to fill up the four-seat aircraft?
Our entire fleet consists of top-class light aircraft, but for this lesson, we use the Cessna 172, which can hold four people, and is quite versatile and smooth to control, which you will be doing for almost all of the flight.
Your time in the pilot's seat will give you essential practice performing basic manoeuvres and it will count towards your LAPL or PPL.
