Rappel in Tamul waterfall in Huasteca Potosina 10 hours

If you want to enjoy Huasteca Potosina intensely, this is your adventure. This tour is designed for all those adventurers who want to enjoy every corner of the Huasteca, experiencing extreme emotions doing adventure sports such as Rappel.
We will pick you up at your hotel to leave at 8:00 am from Ciudad Valles towards the adventure. We will arrive at the Gallinas River where we will walk along the shore for approximately 1 km until we reach one of the most beautiful waterfalls and the highest in the area, you can make a descent of 105 meters next to the impressive Tamul waterfall located on the Tampaón River, known for its turquoise blue tones and which receives the collapse of the Gallinas River, a unique encounter with nature. We recommend you carry out this activity between November to March, before the months of excessive rain arrive that do not allow it to be carried out.

Once the rappelling is finished, we will descend by canoe or panga down the Tampaón River, allowing you to contemplate the spectacular fall of the waterfall. During the river ride we will be able to visit the Cueva del Agua, a cavern-type cenote where its waters will invite us to swim.

At the end of the tour, we will take you to a special place so you can taste a typical dish from the region with handmade tortillas and your experience in the Huasteca of Potosí will be complete.

Our expert guides in this sport and in the area will accompany you at all times and will also provide you with all the equipment necessary to carry out the activity. You only have to worry about having fun and spending a great day in the company of your friends, family or partner.

Previous experience is not necessary to join this adventure, but it is necessary to be in good physical condition since physical activity during the experience is high.

It is important that you wear tennis shoes that you can get wet or adjustable sandals, Crocs or houndstooth sandals are not allowed, shorts that are not denim and a t-shirt that is not cotton, ecological insect repellent, biodegradable sunscreen, a small towel, change of dry clothes and a small back pack backpack. If you use glasses, use a headband to secure them to your head so that they do not fall during the rappel, and if you have long hair, it will need to be tied up with a rubber band.
