The Bear Rock

The Bear Rock is the best indoor climbing centre available in the Midlands. We have:

• 40 leading and top rope lines
• Easy angled slabs
• 13.5m high wall
• 5m overhang competition wall
• Routes ranging from grade 3 to 8A
• Bouldering room
• Bouldering problems set from V0 to V11

We opened The Bear Rock in 1995 and have been expanding the centre over the years. We are open to the general public as well as members of Warwick University. We have also hosted the British Indoor Climbing Championships and continue to host the British Youth Indoor Climbing Championships.

• Inductions designed to teach you all you need to know in order to use the wall on your own
• Lead climbing covers all the basics of leading your own climb
