Company Overview
Welcome to Compass West
We a family run company set up by a father and son team, Rowland and Mark Edwards. We have been operating since 1976, and are both experienced and qualified mountaineers and rock climbers, Rowland is a qualified British and International Guide (IFMGA. UIAGM) and Mark is a (MIA) qualified mountain and rock climbing instructor. We will give you the highest standard of training possible, and a friendly and professional service. We are extrememly passionate about the sport, which comes across in our teaching, and we will provide a safe and comfortable environment in which to learn.
We have two main bases, one is Spain and another in Cornwall, close to Land’s End, Penzance. We run our courses in Cornwall during August and early September.
