Nestled in the village of Cézy, our canoe club offers you different options for discovery of the Yonne River, in the heart of the eponymous department, in the heart of Burgundy. On the lands of the former Counts of Sens, travel along a river rich in history, which saw a thousand and one medieval jousts take place for control of the rich Duchy of Burgundy.

On weekends when the weather permits, or during the week by reservation, our qualified canoe instructors will be happy to welcome you for a trip on the Yonne! Whether you are experienced or a beginner, there is something for everyone: technical initiation, hiking on the water, going down the river... everything is possible at the Canoe Club from Cézy, depending on your level and your desires. Proud of our know-how, we put ourselves at your service to offer you an unforgettable experience, which will complete your trip to Burgundy.

Our routes take you to encounter the vegetation bordering the meanders of the Yonne. From the calm waters of the river, you can admire the castle of Bellerive, pride of the Cézycois. A little further upstream, the town of Joigny is full of exceptional medieval sites, most of which are visible from the water. In the shade of the trees there is an exceptional panorama of the Renaissance period castle of the former counts of Gondi, the churches classified as historical heritage, and the Saint-Jean gate, a vestige of the enclosure which surrounded the village ago centuries.
