Company Overview
With Zafarrancho you have multiple ways to relate to the environment of the Natural Park that houses the Tejada mountains as well as those of Alhama and Almijara. Our facilities include the El Hornillo Nature Classroom as well as large spaces for adventure sports that are enabled to satisfy the needs of all types of groups such as:
- Educational centers: with a proposal that has been designed for its students consisting of a visit to the school farm that we have complemented with workshops to learn about the day-to-day life in this type of facilities.
The Indian Natura proposal is also aimed at them with a duration of 3 to 5 days in which the children will have a special end of the course with horse riding, active sports modalities and games.

Summary Multi Adventure Camps
At Zafarrancho we organize our multi-adventure camp in the Sierra de Tejada so that children from 7 years old to 13 maintain close contact with the activities that can be carried out in them during their stay. nature.
We will be in the Finca el Hornillo complex, which functions as a nature classroom, which will provide us with the necessary coverage to participate in interesting workshops that will introduce us to the natural environment. In its 12 hectares, those registered will be permanently monitored and will be able to practice sports without having to travel long distances.
In the area occupied by the camp we will take advantage of its gardens, the forests that flank it and its completely new main building. This has more than 350 m2 with the comforts that characterize our century such as internet connection.
Some of the activities that we will try together will be horse riding, kayaking and sailing in the nearby Bermejales reservoir at beginner levels and high altitude circuits for which instructors and monitors will always accompany us.
Summary Guided Tours
In Zafarrancho we have specific proposals to receive the visit of school groups to the school farm that we have in the Sierra de Tejada. They are suitable for courses from primary school onwards with no age limit and the aim is for students to spend the entire day learning about animals and nature.
To make the objectives set by the center possible, in addition to showing the farm facilities, we go further by offering workshops on various topics, resulting in a program like this:
- Tour of the school farm: in which we will learn about the species that live with us. We will go to the corral to see the chickens, we will visit the rabbits and the geese and we will spend time with the ponies.
- Activities in the organic garden: we will teach the tasks required by the crops, we will collect those that are ready for consumption and we will try them.
- Cooking workshop: for snack we will become cooks participating in the preparation of homemade products following their traditional recipes.
- Multi-adventure: we will take advantage of the visit to make the little ones enjoy our play areas with archery and a circuit among the trees.
