Jovial Adventure Zaragoza

With Jovial Adventure you can learn the keys to canoeing while you join our descents between the sections of the river that pass through the main towns between the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca.

Some of them are:

- To Mequinenza taking Fraga as a starting point: it is a route along the river in which those over 12 years old can participate as long as the groups do not exceed 20 people for safety. It takes a maximum of 5 hours and is hardly difficult, so we recommend it for school excursions.

- Between Fraga and Torrente de Cinca: descent that runs entirely through the province of Huesca, also for those who are at least 12 years old. It will only take us 2 hours and passes through the lower part of the Bajo Cinca. Although in much of the itinerary we will only find calm waters, we will be surprised by some rapids that will add excitement to the experience.

- From Zaidín to Fraga: although the minimum age to do it does not change, we are facing a more complex route of between 3 and 4 hours. We will go through an area close to the road that connects these towns, observing the characteristics of the riverside fauna.

With Jovial Adventure you have an English camp with adventure activities that children from 9 years old to 14 years old can take part in. We will be in the city of Mequinenza using the Camí de Sirga hostel as a base.

It is an 8-day camp in July that is offered in three different consecutive shifts so that your children do not miss out on a place. All activities, both in nature and those of a cultural nature, are carried outin English to facilitate the participants learning to function using this language as the only vehicle.

The instructors who will be in charge of them come from the United States or are English to ensure that they are completely bilingual and that they have accents and modes of expression typical of English-speaking countries.

The accommodation is located very close to the town so we will have facilities for everything we need in a camp that:

- Covers the day-to-day life of attendees with full board in the facilities of the hostel where we will sleep.

- Includes all the materials for modalities ranging from kayaking and paddle surfing in the river to bicycle rides.

At Jovial Adventure your children will have a multi-adventure camp that is completed with the contact they will maintain with English during their stay. It is offered in three shifts, each lasting 8 days, in the month of July and children aged 9 years and older can participate. The maximum age you can attend is 16.

These boys will be housed at the Camí de Sirga hostel. We have chosen it because of its proximity to both the town of Mequinenza and the area of its reservoir, which will make it easier for us to travel to the adventure activities that we will share.

All those registered will have a full board regime that, in addition to covering all daily meals, includes insurance and the use of all the material that will be required for sports like these:

- Beginner canoeing: we will stay in the area where the waters remain calm to internalize the maneuvers that are basic for the navigation that we will do in the last section of the Segre.

- Paddle Surf: we will look for balance on these boards in which we will also use a paddle to move.

- MTB: we will pedal near the banks of the Ebro to see the composition of the natural areas around Mequinenza.

We will also have time to interact with horse riding and participate in games and gymkahanas. We will also know what the bird ringing procedure is like.
