Company Overview
With the Pilar Vizcaíno Music School you have several types of camps at your disposal so that your children can spend part of the school holidays during the summer. These are:
- Music in Action Camp: this is our program for children from 7 years old whether or not they are used to music classes. It takes place from July 19 to 28 at the Naturacción complex. This hostel with completely new facilities is located in Aljucén, which is just 10 minutes from Mérida.
Participants may opt for the modality with accommodation or for the campus external regime. In both cases they will have group and individual music classes as well as adventure and leisure activities. The teachers who will assist them have been trained at the Conservatory and will have specialized instructors as support for the outdoor modalities.
- Urban campus in Mérida: from July 2 to 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the possibility of extending this schedule. The children will be at the music school facilities within the city sharing robotics workshops, skating, games, face painting and a swimming pool.
Summary Music Camps
At Music in Action we develop an Extremadura Musical Campus that we guide to participants from the age of 7 years. The best thing is that you can enroll your children whether they have experience with an instrument or if they completely lack it.
The camp takes place between July 19 and 28 in two different modalities:
- Full board: students will be accommodated in the campus facilities with all daily meals. They will have included all the music lessons and additional activities that we prepare for them.
- Campus until after lunch time: in this case the children will return home every day after music classes.
We will go through all the fundamental specialties to understand and learn more about our field. In addition to focusing on wind instruments, string instruments or percussion instruments, we will have conducting and composition classes. Other areas will be analysis, jazz or innovative computing applied to the field of music.
The time that we do not spend in individual and group lessons will be spent learning musical language. to join an orchestra or give concerts. The camp is completed with a swimming pool and sports activities such as soccer or adventure activities such as kayaking.
Summary Urban camps
With the urban camps of the Pilar Vizcaíno School of Arts you now have the solution to give your children the best summer while you go to work. They are active from day 2 to July 13 with an excellent location in the center of Mérida.
This campus takes place during weekdays, Monday to Friday, with a schedule that begins at 9 a.m. and extends until 2 p.m. However, we are flexible, committed to family conciliation. That is why you can additionally request the morning classroom service, for which you can bring your children from 7:30 a.m., and later pick-up with the student leaving at 3:30 p.m.
The children will be in our own facilities that consist of a total area of 400 m2, especially suitable for the comfort of the little ones. As for activities, we will combine educational ones with those that are purely for leisure. For example, they will learn robotics, they will start as DJs, they will sing, they will listen to our storytellers or they will create shapes with colored balloons. They can also skate and spend time in the pool cooling off with their new friends.
