At Los Angeles School we have been offering the best education to thousands of children in Getafe for more than 40 years, taking sport as one of the essential bases for school success. That is why we have focused our school's facilities and professionals on quality and fun physical activities, such as the urban camps that we organize during Holy Week within the school.
In the Akademos sports complex, with a 7-a-side soccer field with artificial grass, 6 paddle tennis courts and a heated swimming pool inside the center, the facilities for organizing these campuses are enormous. Therefore, during those non-school and non-working April days, we have prepared two perfect sports activities for athletic boys and girls:
- Football Campus: we will start soon, at 8:30 in the morning, with technical training sessions on the grass. Quick ball movements, improving control and shooting on goal, defensive positioning and retreat, and games to put learning into practice will be the topics that will make up this campus. But we will also take advantage of the pool to relax our muscles and have a good time in the water.
- Paddle Camp: starting at the same time, the 6 paddle tennis courts will be filled with students to learn how to move around the court and hit winning shots. Just like in soccer, we will go to the pool to have a fun time between dips.
Both options have two schedules to choose from. Starting at 8:30, it can be extended until 1:30 or 4:30 in the afternoon. During the long shift, we will eat and play fun games after lunch so that they feel closer to their friends and instructors.
Summary Urban camps
It is indisputable that sport is necessary to achieve success at any stage of life, but it is much more important at the age of going to school, when cultivating the body and mind will be decisive in the adult life of children. At the Los Angeles School we have prepared an urban camp for Holy Week focused on paddle. It is a very fashionable sport, it tends to be very fun and physical.
On April 12, 15, 16 and 17, when the children are on vacation and the parents are working before their Easter holidays, the kids have a reserved space in our strong>Getafe. Here there are 6 padel courts with short artificial grass and tempered glass walls, ideal for learning and playing tournaments during the camp.
There are two schedules to choose from:
- From 8:30 to 13:30: with paddle tennis classes in the morning that are purely technical and with matches between them to have a good time with the racket in hand. Afterwards, the heated pool has its space on this campus. It is a large, covered area where you can rest and have fun swimming and diving.
- From 8:30 to 16:30: this is the extended schedule, in case you can't pick him up at lunchtime. Here we include a balanced lunch and a games session, in addition to the paddle tennis and pool activities in the morning.

Summary Soccer Camps
Every year the same thing happens, we have to work on the weekdays of Easter and our children are on vacation. But you already know what to do with them during those days thanks to the football camp that we have organized at the Los Ángeles school in Getafe. From 8:30 in the morning they will begin with various technical exercises to improve their skills in just a few days, in addition to having a great time practicing their favorite sport.
Above all, thanks to the instructors specialized in training and dealing with the kids, and the facilities. The soccer field is modern and is made with the best artificial grass, on which falls are not harmful and where the ball rolls perfectly.
There are 2 dismissal times on this campus. Until 1:30 pm we will be playing football and in the heated pool that we have inside the school itself, with a lifeguard, of course. A complete morning that can be extended, if you want, until 4:30. A healthy meal and fun games outside (if the weather is good) will be the activities to occupy these days of your vacation.
