Camello Safari Duna Oasis
Camello Safari Duna Oasis

Resumen de la empresa
Coming to the Canary Islands and not taking a camel ride is like not completing your visit. AtCamello Safari Duna Oasis we organize the most fun routes for you on the back of these curious animals.
Enjoy a fun route of 30-35 minutes through the famous dunes of Maspalomas, a desert landscape declared a protected natural area, on a quiet route and very entertaining.
Manolo, Daniel or Sofía are some of the more than 35 dromedaries that we have and that delight all those attending the excursions. They are gentle and friendly.
A guide will lead the excursion and direct the animals, which will be equipped with two-seater saddles, so that 2 people can ride on their humps.
It is the perfect way to enjoy the Canarian natural environment and your free time. If you have never tried the experience of riding a camel, you will surely love it. The Canarian landscape is perfect for these excursions due to its similarity to the most arid areas of the desert, so you will feel like you are part of a very distant country.

The woman at the reception was super friendly, the men who accompanied us during the walk were attentive to us and the camels, the animals were very well cared for and although the walk was a bit short, it was worth it, it is a very nice experience.Company's response:
Hello, good afternoon. Thank you very much for your good rating and the 5 stars. We are glad you enjoyed the ride. The walk cannot be extended. We are in an area of the protected nature reserve and we have our route marked by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.
Best regards and see you soon!

Super cool experience, especially for children, the animals are well cared for, and although when you arrive you have to wait, the area inside is well equipped with shades and soft drink and ice cream machines, so the wait can be more enjoyable.
Nearby is the Maspalomas lighthouse and the beach so if the wait is longer than expected you can complete the getaway with a visit to these two places or their shops...Company's response:
Hello good afternoon,
Thank you very much for your opinion and the 5 stars. We are happy that you enjoyed our camel ride. A cordial greeting and see you soon.

Great experience I am very happy and sure I will repeat. I gave it as a gift voucher and fascinated them. It will be a memory for a lifetime. -

It was a very good experience to walk the camel dunes. Everything went very well and very fun. There was even one that came behind me and gave me the nose ... I caught my love haha. They were very tame animals. -

The experience has been very good. He did very well.
The organizers are very nice. The only bad thing is that your ass gets a little flat because the ass is very thin. I recommend one a little more chubby.
The back also suffers with the camel's wagging, it is struck with the wood of the chair. It will also be well lined with a little foam.
But overall, fine. I recommend it!!! -

It has been a rewarding experience. You do not have all the odds of traveling on a camel.
It's fun and original. Lovely staff. The route is good because you go far enough to see the dunes and simulate a dismal route.
The duration of 30 minutes, or more, is adequate. The price of 12 € Adult, maybe I do a lot. -

The safari itself is very nice. However, the animals do not make the impression that they like it. The photos for 5 € are good. -

Disastrous experience. There is a lousy organization, nothing more that you arrive make you line up for more than an hour in the sun, only to give you an hour that will have to take the walk.
We arrived at 10 and rowed until 11.30, when they gave us a turn for 13.40. Once they give you the turn you can go for something and return ... but let's lose all morning.
They should give the time to ride as soon as they arrive in a more agile way or even through the Internet so as not to make you go twice.
Above when you arrive it turns out that there are people who have arrived long after they are going up before.
The walk itself is not much, the animals are tired and is quite uncomfortable. I do not recommend it, there are millions of better things to do in Gran Canaria.Company's response:
Good afternoon.
Thanks for your opinion.
If you travel anywhere and you will visit something you have to wait and queue, not only in camels.
In his information he has received, he clearly says that in July and August we recommend the schedule of 9 am in the morning to avoid a lot of waiting time because from 10.00 there is already waiting time up to two hours.
What they say that people who arrived after you and set up before is not true. A reserve number and schedule are delivered when you can assemble.
We also have a goalkeeper who let people pass one by one. There are people who come at 9 am in the morning and reserve at a specific time and then come 10 minutes before riding.
Our animals are all in perfect health and as you have been able to check between walk and walk they have 15 - 20 minutes of rest, they work between 9.20h - 14.15h. In August no animal makes more than 6 walks a day.
We also have a weight limit per person that are 100 kilos. As we could see we chose people to climb the camels because not all camels can carry the same weight.
