Welcome to Freedom Boats
We offer boat hire and day hire from our base on the Macclesfield canal. We can advise you on the best route to take so you can make the most of your time out on the water and enjoy the picturesque countryside.
Our Boats
Milford Star is our luxury 36 seater passenger narrowboat, available for 2-3 hours cruises, but longer cruises can be arranged to suit your needs. Complete with specially desogned facilities, onboard catering and a bar, she is a perfect way to travel in comfort and style along the Macclesfield Canal. A great idea for parties, we can also arrange music, we will be pleased to discuss your requirements with you.
Astra II
Astra II is our 26' trad stern self steer day boat, ideal for enjoying a day out with family or friends, celebrations, or corporate events. Onboard facilities include:
- A kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery
- Toilet
- Hot and cold water
- A 2 ring hob
- Drop down PVC sides in case of bad weather
