Dublin Boat

Where the River Liffey meets the Irish Sea sits the jewel of the Emerald Isle: Dublin.

There’s no better way to discover this enchanting city than by boat, and that’s where Dublin Boat comes in. We run tours in Dublin Bay and beyond, enjoying the city and surrounding coastline in one direction and the open sea in the other. If you like beaches, islands, coves and marine wildlife, climb aboard!

We have two fantastic boats in our fleet. The first is a Harbour Pilot boat, built to work in busy docklands but converted into a fantastic sightseeing vessel. With top speed of 24 knots and a lot of deck space, including walk around side decks, you can expect to see a lot on this boat. The other is the Black Robin, a 35 foot ketch - a class of yacht renowned for safety and capable of completing round-the-world trips.

We don’t go around the world, but we can take you on a voyage of discovery. From the Dublin Motor Yacht Club on West Pier, we sail in Dublin Bay, around the headland to Dalkey and Killiney Bay and across the bay to Howth and the Ireland’s Eye - an island in the Irish Sea.

At the helm is Skipper Vincent Duke. He’s an experienced seafarer of the old sort: calm under pressure, knowledgeable of time and tide, and full of ripping yarns about his life on the seven seas. All the members of his crew are equally competent and charismatic, so you’re guaranteed a successful voyage!
