Company Overview
Embark aboard our trimaran to discover the biodiversity treasures of the Leucate pond during a boat trip! All Ride 66 awaits you near Barcarès, a stone's throw from the beaches of the Pyrénées-Orientales. We offer you soothing and relaxing cruiseson the lake, departing from Port Coudalère.
Our playground: the immense Leucate pond, with an area of 5,400 hectares. A lagoon separated from the Côte Vermeille by the Languedoc dune cord, the pond is home to remarkable fauna and flora, characteristic of the region's wetlands. Pink flamingos, schools of fish, a thousand and one species of birds... you have an appointment with its shimmering inhabitants! In order to discover them, our passionate crew has prepared several navigation experiences for you, adapting to all sailor profiles:
- Our sunset outings: ideal for admiring our star disappearing behind the limestone hills of Corbières! As the last light illuminates the wine-growing landscapes of Roussillon, the sparkling waters of the lake take on reddish hues. A spectacle not to be missed, of a beauty that only nature is capable of.
- Our day trimaran excursions: embark on a complete walk along the banks of the Leucate pond, from Île aux Oiseaux to Île aux Rascasses. Explore the picturesque shellfish and aquaculture landscapes, and greet some fishing boats. A real lake cruise to share for a moment of relaxation with family or friends.
All Ride 66 is not just a trip on the lake to meet its inhabitants. It is also an odyssey giving you plenty of time to admire the archaeological gems that dot the banks. From the ancient Domitian Way linking Roman Italy to Spain to the fortress of Salses, our instructors offer you a real journey through time to the rhythm of the comings and goings of the currents .
