Your only "responsibility" for taking off in a hot-air balloon will be to get to the point of take-off, the rest is up to the company with which you decide to embark on this adventure, although it is very common for them to offer you to participate in the inflation process of the balloon. Without a doubt, this is an essential part that both children and adults will like.

This magical adventure among the clouds is a lot of fun to share and in Alava you will find great plans that adapt to the company you want to share this balloon flight with. It's perfect to do it with the whole family, with your friends if you've been looking for a plan to get together or, of course, with your partner if you want to make some memories of your relationship. We can't think of a more romantic plan.

Where to take a balloon ride in Álava?

- In Álava, flying on a balloon is easy and it is also an exquisite way of filling your senses, as the landscapes that await you leave you and anyone else speechless. You will find companies with which you can fly in a balloon in two key places in the province: in Labastida and in Vitoria.

- If you are in or near Vitoria, you will understand that this Basque region has much more to offer than its extravagant and delicious gastronomy. Here you will find plans to fly on a balloon that will allow you to fly over the surroundings of Vitoria Gasteiz and let yourself get carried away by its imposing Gorbea massif.

- Another option to try a balloon ride around Vitoria is to levitate over the emblematic Rioja Alavesa. This is a mythical region that we recommend you visit, especially if you are a wine lover, as it stands out for its immense landscapes of maroon and orange tones that bathe the area's vineyards.

- But there is also another perfect (and spectacular) landscape with which to get to know the province of Vitoria from a balloon: the Demanda and Cantabria mountain ranges. But these are by no means the last ones, as there are few places in Vitoria as typical as the Llanada Alavesa plain or the Ebro Valley, mythical valleys of these lands that acquire a very special character when seen from a hot-air balloon.

- On the other hand, if you want to take off from Labastida, most flights are to certain towns in La Rioja due to their proximity, such as Haro, in the Rioja Alta region.

Wherever you are, we guarantee a completely immersive and complete experience, as half of the balloon flights you will find have a champagne toast and/or lunch, making the flight ceremony a unique moment.

Enjoying a balloon flight in Álava will be a memorable experience that will set a milestone in your life’s history. You will discover another way of doing tourism in an exciting and fun way that will allow you to enjoy nature and the small villages we will fly over with total peace and quiet.
