Flying is man's eternal dream and it is obvious that any close experience is spectacular as well as an adventure from start to finish. But participating in a balloon ride through one of the most beautiful natural enclaves of the province of Lugo is, without a doubt, an experience that goes much further and that from Aerotours Galicia we want to show you in the most special way.
We have two take-off fields for our balloon flights just 30 minutes from each other, one in Taboada and the other in Chantada but both capable of giving you the best sunrises in the Galician countryside.
Depending on the time of year you decide to fly in a hot air balloon, we will meet at one time or another, but always around 7-8 in the morning to begin preparing the aircraft. Trust us, getting up early is worth it.
While the team is deploying and inflating the balloon, you can participate in the activity and ask how much you want to know about how it works. It is very curious, especially if you come with children or have never seen a balloon up close.
When the expert considers that everything is ready to take off, he will signal you to get on the boat (the basket that will transport you) and let the real adventure begin!
We will be flying over the Ribeira Sacra for approximately 1 hour, taking advantage of the first air currents of the morning and enjoying the spectacle that nature gives us in the form of chestnut and oak forests, vineyards in surprising areas almost vertical while the Miño River crosses them. It is not even difficult to fly over the Sil canyons on a day when the wind blows from the south.
A support vehicle will follow us throughout the journey and at the end, wait for us at the landing area to celebrate the mythical flight ceremony that always accompanies balloon rides. A diploma presentation and a toast with cava, as well as a country lunch to put the cherry on top of about 3 hours in total that will be unforgettable. The greatest proof of this will be the video and photographic report that we will give you so that you will never forget this exciting balloon experience.
