Acuario de Gijon

The Gijón Aquarium is located very close to Poniente Beach and San Lorenzo Beach, you can come by public transport or in your own car as you prefer. Now there is no excuse to come visit us!

You will have the sensation of walking on water while observing the beauty of the fish and exploring the seabed of the Atlantic Sea.

In our facilities we have spaces for children and school groups where we will explain everything about the environment so that they learn everything about this aquatic world. So it will be a fantastic day to spend the day and learn.

The aquarium has:

• 25 tanks in the tropical zone
• 25 in cold water areas

In total there are 4000 fish of more than 400 different species, all of them distributed in our aquariums such as salmon, eels, trout, penguins, bull sharks... in which they coexist with green and loggerhead turtles.

It will be a very fun day for both children and parents, in addition to being an exciting day while they learn and discover marine life in our aquarium.
