Real Aeroclub de Zaragoza

Since its beginnings with more than 1,000 pilots, the Real Aeroclub de Zaragoza has totaled more than 40,000 flight hours and we have carried out countless aerial baptisms.

We can offer you different services:

• Aerial baptism. This activity will allow you to get closer to the world of aviation and you will feel how the clouds part in your path while the pilot will explain the basic notions about this activity. Furthermore, if the conditions are optimal, you will be able to control the plane for a few moments.

• Initiation course. It will allow you to become a light aircraft pilot after passing the theoretical and practical tests. One of our instructors will be in charge of transmitting his knowledge to you and in a couple of days you will be able to obtain the qualification. We will teach you the principles of flight, the theory of radio communication, meteorology, flight planning... During the practices you will be able to taxi, take off, ascend and descend, test cruising speed, land...

• Pilot course. With this course you will learn to know the aircraft in depth, you will know the theories of air law, meteorology, visual navigation as well as the different navigation instruments, aerodynamics, maneuvers... In order to obtain the qualification you will need pass the theory and the 45 hours of flight, divided into different modules.

• Radiotelephonist and Linguistic Competence in English. This course is the first step so that you can acquire the linguistic competence required by the ICAO. You will learn the phrases necessary to communicate in any of the cases that are necessary during the practice of this activity: information, help, urgency, area control, etc.
