Aero Club Como

At theAero Club Como flying school (the only relevant institution for the training of seaplane and amphibious pilots in Europe) it is possible to learn how to fly a seaplane and obtain aeronautical qualifications .

It will be possible to take courses for:

• Student pilot certificate
• Private pilot's license
• Abilitation to fly single-engine piston and turbine seaplanes and amphibians.
• Pilot companion

Once the license has been obtained or after obtaining the qualification to pilot seaplanes, it is possible to follow an advanced course in seaplane flying, gaining experience in advanced operations, such as landing on piers without assistance from ground personnel, landing to unequipped beaches and shores, mooring to the buoy, sailing and various operations on the sea, rivers and alpine lakes.

To obtain the qualification it is possible to carry out the examination flight with one of the two internal examiners, immediately after completing the training.
