What is a paramotor?
The paramotor is an aircraft supported by a flexible paraglider-type wing. It belongs to the U.L.M. family. (Ultralight motorized)
Unlike classic ULMs (Multiaxes, pendulum, autogyro), the paramotor can take off and land from any terrain in compliance with aviation regulations. This is one of its main attractions.

- Training:
To obtain the paramotor pilot certificate, the candidate must:
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Have passed a theoretical U.L.M. exam. (QCM type) common to the 5 classes (paramotor, pendulum, multi-axis, gyroplane and aerostat)
- Having then received authorization to fly alone on board by an instructor authorized by the DGAC following practical training.

Introductory sessions are organized in half-day, practical and theoretical demonstrations and all year round on the Marennes ULM Base.
- Paramotor baptisms:
"Two-seater baptism" : flight over Brouage, the Charente estuary, Fort Lupine or the marsh with an instructor under aparaglider wing – From 5 years old.
Oopen all year round theMarennes ULM Base by appointment, for flights between 15 and 45 minutes depending on your wishes.
