If you are looking for a bit more of a rush, then you want to join us for our aerobatic flights in the De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk, we will climb to 4000 feet in the air before your pilot really puts you to the test, banking sharply, performing loop-de-loops and barrel rolls giving you a real test of how it feels to be subjected to G-forces, which can be highly addictive!

Glide high above the Devon coast in our Scheibe Bergfalke 4 two-seat trainer for a flying experience unlike any other with Eaglescott Airfield Gliding.

Once you have received a short briefing on the aircraft and its controls, our tug aircraft will lift off, helping us to ascend to approximately 2000 feet in the air, the wide green expanse of the rich pastures of Devon stretching out beneath you, with the views expanding out to Dartmoor in the south, the hills of Exmoor and South Molton all being visible.

Once we are released from the tug the only sound will be the air streaming over the clear canopy at 50 miles per hour. The experience is akin to flying on a magic carpet!

Now it’s the time you have been waiting for, keep your eyes on the horizon and take control of this amazing aircraft, guide the nose up and down as you ascend and descend, feeling the air flowing over the wings, dip to the side into a bank, feeling the rush of acceleration as you soar through the air.
