The only flight school authorized to climb to the heights of the Principality of Asturias, Aeroastur, comes with the intention of materializing the dream of flying through the one that a few like you lose their minds. From baptisms to courses to become an expert pilot, the modality that best suits your experience.
We offer you light plane flights so that you can feel like a pilot for 1 day for 1 hour and a half, we will take you to explore the heights of Asturias with a walk through charming and green corners of 1 hour or you can take the controls of one of these vehicles for the first time.
With our latest generation ultralights we teach initiation courses, obtaining pilot license, rental of vehicles and material aeronautical for those who already have the title, specific training for pilots, training for radio operators and flights of variable duration with members of our team at the controls.
Our landing and takeoff operations center, as well as the location of the hangar in which we keep our fleet of ultralights and light aircraft safe, is located at the La Morgal Aerodrome, in the municipality of Lugo de Llanera.
This aerodrome, with a landing strip of about 900 meters, has a privileged location for all Asturians, since it is closely connected to Avilés, about 10 minutes from Gijón and 5 minutes from Oviedo.

Our plane flights will take you to contemplate the most spectacular views from Lugo de Llanera, in Asturias. Mountains, sea and extensive green meadows under your feet.
At the La Morgal airfield you will have a small plane and a flight instructor waiting for you. Depending on the activity you choose, you will enjoy a baptism of flying or a relaxed walk in the surrounding area. What do we offer you?
Informative flights of 1 hour and 1 hour and a half. In this type of activity we teach you the basic principles of aviation and piloting this type of aircraft. It also includes the possibility of putting yourself in control. Do you dare?
If what you like is to look out the window, we also have that ride as a passenger. Get on the aircraft and let your eyes be delighted with the panoramic views of the Nora region, Vía de la Plata or the incredible natural environment of La Cebera, where there is a majestic centuries-old forest.
The flights do not require prior experience or practice. At all times you will be under the supervision of an expert pilot who, in the case of flight baptisms, will be in charge of taking off and landing.
Resumen Ultraligeros
Maybe common flights don't catch your attention. Flying to travel to a specific place is no longer a mere procedure. Therefore, what we offer you at Aeroastur is something much more personal, fun and enthusiastic. We want you to visit the La Morgal airfield and get on our ultralight to explore the beautiful views of Lugo de Llanera.
We have different types of flights: first flight and simple flights. This means that we take you to explore the Asturian landscape in an ultralight but, in addition, we teach you everything related to the aircraft. Very close to the airfield is the circuit named after the famous former Formula 1 driver, Fernando Alonso.
You can also choose the duration: 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is enough time for you to appreciate the quality of the landscape in areas such as the Nora region, the wild environment of Cebera and the Via de la Silver.
The walk will be done with an experienced instructor. He will be the one who informs you about the itinerary you will follow. He will also explain everything about the territories you are traveling through while you feel how the ultralight glides over the Asturian clouds.
