Beyond skiing and snowboarding, the snow provides other equally thrilling alternatives for all ages. Let's talk about snowmobiles. Yes, we all know them, but their use in Spain isn't very widespread, which is why we want to encourage you to try them – it's a remarkable experience. The Pyrenees mountain range will be the star of this article.

WHERE TO RIDE A SNOWMOBILE IN SPAIN

1. Andorra

The small neighbouring principality located in the north, right in the heart of the Pyrenees, is one of the best destinations to experience the thrill of riding a snowmobile. This is where you'll find the widest range of options and companies for snowmobile hire and to plan an excellent route. One of the most well-known is the Grandvalira resort, the largest ski station in the peninsula.

Another option is Vallnord, another Andorran resort passing through the Seturia valley.
You'll get to enjoy Andorra's landscapes in a unique way – scenery you couldn't access without these machines. You can choose between daytime and nighttime routes, circuits, and the snowmobiles can be shared between two people – TOP! Highly recommended. 

2. Huesca

We're staying in the Pyrenees to show you another classic Spanish winter destination. Different resorts like Cerler or Formigal offer snowmobile driving courses and rentals. Both the Benasque Valley and the Tena Valley are top destinations for snowmobiling.  You can see it first-hand in this video.


Exploring these Pyrenean landscapes is an incredible experience, which is why there are many centres and hire companies with endless options and different packages. You can even build an igloo! Mind-blowing! 

3. Lleida

Still in the Pyrenees, we now head to one of the country's most famous resorts: Baqueira Beret and the majestic Aran Valley. Muntgarri is a renowned destination for this activity, which is why we strongly recommend it.
