Paratrike on the ground

If you love two things and they can be combined... you go crazy! That's exactly what happens with buggies and paramotor flights – when you mix them, you get an adventure in capital letters, one of those experiences you (unfortunately) don't get to do all the time but once you try it, you know you'll want to repeat it.

Also known as parabuggies, though this activity is very similar to a paratrike flight, the added feature of having a wheeled vehicle, like a tricycle buggy, brings certain differences compared to a standard paramotor flight as we know it.

The main difference between paratrikes and paramotors is where you sit (whether it's a tandem flight or not). Being seated in this kind of buggy avoids the (slight) "pull" caused by the parachute lines during takeoff, as the pilot of this aircraft doesn’t have to carry approximately 26 kg on their back.

It also goes without saying that takeoff with a paratrike is much more comfortable since you don’t need to hold the lines and can turn with greater ease. Though, as always, it’s a matter of practice (if you want to specialise in this aerial sport) to get the hang of handling the paratrike. If, on the other hand, you’re just here to enjoy the adventure while someone else takes care of the flying... even better!

So if you’ve decided your next adventure will be aboard a "flying buggy", we’ve got you covered – just check here to find out where you can fly a paratrike in our country.
