The 3 Best Areas to Enjoy Paragliding in the Lleida Pyrenees

1. Organyà

Located in the Serra de Prada area of Alt Urgell, Lleida. Flights here reach an altitude of 550 metres, making it one of the favourite flying zones for Lleida’s paragliders. You’ll gain significant height above the valley. The standard take-off point sits 200 metres above the valley with a south-facing orientation. Launching at 813 metres allows rapid ascent.

The landing zone is very close to take-off at 560 metres altitude. The maximum flight elevation difference is 260 metres.

2. Àger

One of the most renowned areas with the highest number of flights. Situated in Àger, Lleida, with flight altitudes reaching 600 metres.
Three take-off points exist:
Coll d’Ares: The largest launch site at 1565 metres altitude.
Tablones: A southeast-facing take-off closest to the village and campsite landing zone (1311m).
La Nova: The gentlest slope of the three (1230m).

Landings occur at three locations:
Camp de la T: Nearest to take-off points (800m).
Cal Maciarol: A private landing field at "Cal Maciarol" rural house (725m).
Camping d’Ager: Closest to the village (600m), adjacent to the campsite.
